Boundary Wall Collapse

Situation:

AuthentiSurv were contacted following the collapse of a historic boundary wall in Eastleigh.

The masonry wall extended beyond multiple properties and impacted five individual sites/plots.

Brickwork debris fell into neighbouring property gardens and the wall remained in situ with significant lean away from the Client's site.

Solution:

AuthentiSurv undertook an initial appraisal of the wall and impact to neighbouring properties, producing a detailed report for all stakeholders along with recommendations for risk management.

Subsequently, AuthentiSurv liaised with the sites stakeholders to agree an initial scope of works to remove damaged sections of wall and reduce levels to a lower position and achieve a more tolerable risk level whilst ownership and liabilities could be ascertained.
